Projects come in all shapes and sizes. Throughout my career, I’ve spent more hours, days, weeks than I care to think of writing grant applications, managing grant-funded projects, reporting to funders, evaluating projects… You name the grant stage; I have done it. In 2021, I was lucky enough to work with the Association of Independent Museums and get to see the grant funding process from the funders side of things. I cannot begin to tell you how enlightening that was. I also saw how museums were succumbing to Application Temptation. No matter what the funding programme was ostensibly for, they were desperately trying to cram themselves into the criteria and fit in as many projects as they could, regardless of how overstretched they and their team already was. If this is ringing any bells, this is the workshop for you. So, stop. Take a breath. Let&#x27;s work on this together. One of my mantras for this year is “Work Better” and this workshop has been designed to help you do just that. To help you identify your grant readiness, your capacity, if it matches the funder’s aims and, above all, if taking on another grant is feasible for you. To map your way from project idea to successful grant application. The workshop will last approximately 2 hours with a break in the middle and a Q&amp;A session at the end. It comes with an accompanying workbook that will be emailed to you at the time of booking.
