We are pleased to invite you to the launch of Art Changes Lives, Artcore’s new community project, on Wednesday 11 February from 11am.
All projects at Artcore Community Hub are free to attend and designed to support our local communities. We are celebrating the beginning of a new chapter; with new opportunities and the power of creativity to bring our communities together.
Art Changes Lives, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and supported by Derby City Council, is designed to reduce isolation, boost wellbeing, and support children and young people to thrive through inclusive creative activity in Derby.
The programme will be delivered through three key strands:
Community Connectedness – bringing people together through collaborative creative workshops
Health and Wellbeing – artist-led sessions supporting people with mental and physical health challenges
Children and Young People – creative programmes for ages 6 to 15, supporting young people to learn new skills, build confidence, express themselves, and develop resilience
