Art Classes for children with Chatitze, South Manchester/Sunday
Overview
I’m excited to welcome young creatives aged 6 to 12 to my cosy home-based studio between October 2025 and March 2026! These sessions are designed to help children enhance their painting and drawing skills through regular practice, guided exploration, and a growing love for art.
Art is not only a form of self-expression, but also a way for children to understand their emotions, make sense of the world around them, and find moments of calm and deep concentration. Each class offers an opportunity to slow down, focus, and connect creatively.
Since 2020, I’ve had the joy of teaching art through the National Saturday Programme (MMU), AWOL Studios, A4 Studios, and my own private and group home-based classes. These experiences have shaped my approach — blending structured learning with freedom of expression, ensuring that each child’s artistic voice is valued and nurtured.
Classes are held on Sundays, with each session lasting one hour and accommodating up to three students, allowing for plenty of individual attention.
Private lessons are also available on weekday afternoons and evenings, and can take place in students’ homes depending on location and distance.
Each class focuses on a specific skill or theme, encouraging students of all experience levels to explore at their own pace. Whether it’s learning new techniques or discovering personal expression, every young artist embarks on their own creative journey — one brushstroke/mark at a time.
