About this event

  • We explore and play with different media including acrylics, watercolour, posca pen, pencils, oil and mixed media.


  • We focus on the process of art making. It is not about creating a perfect masterpiece, but about enjoying the process of creativity and expressing yourself without judgement or criticism.


  • The sessions are held in a safe and friendly environment where you can let your creativity flow freely in a relaxed and supportive group.


  • We work together to inspire, to support and to develop our artistic skills.


  • You are welcome to share the space with us, to come and be in the presence of others with no pressure to follow any rules! Just do what you would like, how you would like!


  • You can come and read your book whilst we create, you can come and drink tea whilst we create, you can come and 'have a go' whilst we create, you can come and watch whilst we create - all are welcome!

Do I have to bring anything?

No, I provide all the materials that you will need and all the inspiration for creativity!

Is there any parking nearby?

Yes, there is plenty of parking available in nearby streets or there is a public car park directly behind SJs (turn down Kingsway and the entrance is immediately after the pharmacist on the left)

Do I have to be an experienced artist?

Not at all! Many people who I work with have not picked up a paint brush for a number of years, we can work together to build up your confidence.

Are refreshments included?

Yes, you can have as much tea, coffee, squash and cookies/cake as you like! Yum!
