art of becoming: finding your voice with ann storr
a two-part workshop series: for the girls who know they have something to say…but haven’t quite unlocked how they want to say it...yet!
Art of Becoming: Finding Your Voice
with Ann Storr
a two-part Hey, Sis. workshop series
whether you’re:
- wanting to start (or revive) a Substack
- updating your LinkedIn or CV and tired of sounding like a robot
- levelling up your creative writing or storytelling
- or just trying to hear yourself more clearly
this space is about getting you closer to your real voice, not the polished, people-pleasing one.
it’s about becoming who you already see for yourself, slowly, honestly, and in your own words.
part 1: finding your voice
🗓 thursday 15th january
before we do more, we listen
this session is about excavation. digging into where your voice comes from, what’s been muting it, and how to express it with confidence and clarity.
through guided reflection, gentle prompts, and practical tools, you’ll:
- identify your natural tone, rhythm, and perspective
- understand how your voice has been shaped (and softened)
- translate who you are into words that actually feel like you
no pressure to perform.
no rushing to publish.
part 2: using your voice (the doing)
🗓 thursday 22nd january
becoming needs practice.
this session is an open, supported working space. part body-doubling, part creative studio, part accountability partners
you’ll be invited to:
- bring something you’ve been meaning to work on (writing, a bio, CV, article, pitch, creative piece, etc.)
- work alongside others in focused togetherness
- receive live feedback, reflection, and encouragement, if you want it
this is about action without urgency
letting your voice move from insight to expression.
why hey, sis.?
because we believe becoming happens in sisterhood
because your voice doesn’t need fixing, it needs space
because you don’t need a “new you,” just permission to be more you
