Come and join us for our unique A.I presentation at Blackburn Leisure, Brough. Months in the making we aim to lift the veil on A.I.

Artificial intelligence didn’t appear out of nowhere; it stands on the shoulders of visionaries like Alan Turing, who first asked whether machines could think long before computers filled our pockets. From those early thought experiments to the rise of smartphones, tiny supercomputers we casually carry around. AI has quietly woven itself into daily life. Every swipe, search, and photo edit is powered by systems that would have seemed like science fiction only a generation ago.

During the evening, we will explore where that journey has taken us and where it might lead next. We’ll look at how AI is used today in art, daily life, music, film and entertainment, as well as the tools we rely on without even noticing. We will touch on the human brain and even quantum physics. Then we’ll push forward into the future—imagining worlds shaped by intelligent assistants, creative machines, and technologies that blur the line between human and digital. And because learning is always better with a drink in hand, the licensed bar will be open throughout the evening, so feel free to top up your glass as we dive into the story of AI together.
