Artisan Apron
Create a stylish Japanes-style Artisan Apron with crossover back and side pockets. Suitable for confident beginners upwards.
Create your own stylish Artisan apron. You will use a pattern to cut out, pin and sew your apron, which has a crossover design and side pockets.
What we will provide:
The Pattern, which you can take home and re-use.
Basic sewing kit (unless you bring your own)
Tea/Coffee and biscuits!
What you will need to bring:
We would prefer you to bring your own sewing machine but if that is not possible we do have some to borrow.
You will need approx. 2 metres of fabric for the apron plus approx. 2 metres of fabric for the lining. Cotton, linen or lightweight denim are all suitable. Think about re-using existing fabrics such as duvet covers or sheets, particularly for the lining. The example in the photo was made from an old linen duvet cover which had been dyed green.
