ARTISTS’ INSIGHTS: PRACTICE Thursday 16 April 2026 7.00 — 8.30pm <a href="https://www.instagram.com/form_i_c_a/" title="https://www.instagram.com/form_i_c_a/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">@form_i_c_a</a>, Unit 5 Lymore Gardens, BA2 1AQ Artists Nicola Turner, Simon Periton and Andrea V Wright share their insights into art practice in conversation with Poppy Clover. Nicola Turner (<a href="https://www.instagram.com/nicolaturner.art/" title="https://www.instagram.com/nicolaturner.art/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">@nicolaturner.art</a>) is known for creating large scale, visceral installations from wool and waste horsehair, often made in response to their surroundings. She set up Form-ICA, in Bath, where she has a studio. Simon Periton (<a href="https://www.instagram.com/simonperiton/" title="https://www.instagram.com/simonperiton/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">@simonperiton</a>) lives and works in Bath. He has a wide-ranging sculptural practice and is known for his site specific artworks within the public realm. Andrea V. Wright (<a href="https://www.instagram.com/andreavwright/" title="https://www.instagram.com/andreavwright/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">@andreavwright</a>) is a multi-disciplinary visual artist based in Somerset. She graduated with a BA from Chelsea College of Art &amp; Design in 1994 and received an MFA in 2016. Andrea is currently a mentor at the MASS Sculpture School. Poppy Clover (<a href="https://www.instagram.com/poppyyclover/" title="https://www.instagram.com/poppyyclover/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">@poppyyclover</a>) is Collection Manager for the Roberts Institute of Art and the David and Indrė Roberts Collection. Her work is shaped by a background in arts education, curation, production and gallery management, with a focus on increasing access to art and supporting artists. — Soup and drinks will be available with the proceeds going towards supporting future Bath Art Depot community events and projects.
