Founded in 2013, Turf Projects is the first entirely artist-run contemporary art space in Croydon, South London.Established by creatives with a personal connection to the borough, Turf now comprises; a gallery space exhibiting work from emerging and established artists; an artists workspace and events space; and a small studio provision for artists and makers.We endeavor to create free, high quality exhibitions and events for Croydon both at our workshop & gallery space in the Whitgift Centre and out in the Croydon community.

Taking place at the end of each month, our free feedback sessions are a chance to get feedback on your work from a practicing artist in a supportive and friendly environment. All kinds of creative work are welcome.
April’s feedback session will be led by 'Strange Loop' exhibiting artist Karanjit Panesar. 
Email us your images and any additional requirements at info@turf-projects.com if you’d like us to get images up full scale on our projector. Participation isn’t mandatory – you’re welcome to simply come and view the works and take part in the discussions.
 
<H3>ABOUT KARANJIT PANESAR //</H3>
Karanjit Panesar b. 1992, lives and works in Leeds. Recent solo and two person presentations of work include 'THE WAY THINGS ARE' [solo], arebyte Gallery, London; 'Gloopiness is slippery but not like an ocean' [solo], Arnolfini, Bristol (2017); 'eeeeeeeee' [with lewdjaw], CBS Gallery, Liverpool (2017). Recent group exhibitions include 'Allen Road Sculpture Park', Artlicks Weekend, London (2017); 'East Midlands Today', 2 Queens, Leicester (2017); 'NAWKI', with 12o Collective, nationwide (2017).
Panesar is co-founder and director of east bristol contemporary, an artist-run initiative that counteracts the lack of showing spaces for emerging artists in Bristol and seeks to establish a unique and diverse programme of exhibitions and event.
