Jane Gray is a highly experienced arts project manager, specialising in participatory programmes for children & young people across artforms.  She has been an Arts Award Trainer for 13 years; a Moderator for 8 years, and delivers Arts Award Support in the North East in partnership with The Customs House and Culture Bridge North East.She is an Associate with Blue Cabin and Riverside Associates.

This is an opportunity to find out more about the moderation process, including preparation and assessment and what to expect on the day.  Moderator and trainer Jane Gray will lead the session, and you will have the opportunity to hear from experienced Advisers and their experiences of moderation.
It is suitable for advisers who are thinking about booking, or preparing for, moderation and is an opportunity to hear from a moderator's point of view about what contributes to a successful Arts Award process.
These sessions are designed as group workshop sessions, rather than drop-in, so we encourage you to arrive ready for the start time, as we will be looking at things together, and this is a chance to network with other advisers.
 
The Arts Award surgeries are free, however if you book and then cannot make it, we ask that you please let us know in advance so that we can allocate your space to someone else.
 PLEASE NOTE: These sessions are only for people who have completed Arts Award adviser training at any level.
