Arts Partnership Lab

Creative Nottingham North is led by Rebalancing the Outer Estates Foundation, a small charity chaired by Alex Norris MP; in partnership with a range of arts and community organisations who work towards a shared vision of making Nottingham North a vibrant, creative place to live, work and grow up.  We are coming the end of our first Arts Counci funded project and want to share our work over the last 3 years, while making the most of this opportunity to bring partners together for future collaborative working and lots of inspired thinking!

Rebalancing the Outer Estates Foundation has a flagship creative project called 'Creative Nottingham North'; which aims to widen participation in arts and cultural activities within the constituency of Nottingham North in the city.  Funded by the Arts Council, we want to share with you some of the successes and challenges we’ve experienced over the last 3 years; while taking the opportunity to bring together community leaders and arts organisations to learn more about each other’s offers, needs and ways of working. 
With a range of short presentations from community groups, arts partners and local residents in the morning, lunch will be followed by an afternoon Hackathon in which we explore community arts engagement in relation to:
Youth opportunities 
Health and Wellbeing
Neighbourhoods & Environment  
Citizen Science.
"How do we harness the wealth of experience, energy and enthusiasm that community leaders bring to their areas, and the drive and ambition of arts organisations to engage with more people across the city?"
