We are the Indoor Generation!
We spend 90% of our time indoors. Furthermore, the indoor environment is 5 times more polluted than the outdoor. This has a negative effect on our Health, as we are living in unhealthy homes.
Daylight & Fresh Air is vital for a healthier home. This is why VELUX has been involved in many experimental building projects. The latest, being Living Places.
We believe it’s time to rethink how buildings can help resolve global climate and health challenges through sustainable solutions and practical action.
Together with our partners EFFEKT and Artelia we set out to make an impact in the building industry. An industry accounting for up to 40% of global energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
A platform for investors, contractors, engineers, architects, and other specialist experts to join forces in a pioneering, multidisciplinary initiative that reconnects people and the planet.
Allow me to take you on a journey. A journey of experimental projects and learnings to help fulfil our purpose;
“Create Well-Being for people and planet by transforming spaces using daylight and fresh air”.
