About this event

Bring your networking questions and challenges to a group coaching discussion, facilitated by two Alumni career coaches.

Group coaching offers you a safe space to get clear on your individual goals and objectives and share your challenges and concerns around a pre-determined career theme. Through this facilitated discussion you have the opportunity to leverage different perspectives and expertise to deepen your career learning and feel supported and empowered to take action.

To get the most out of group coaching it is important you come prepared to participate, to ask questions, and to provide your own thoughts and opinions to the rest of the group to support each-others career development in the spirit of peer-to-peer learning. In order to participate fully you will need to have your video switched on and be prepared to unmute and engage in the conversation. Please be mindful of this when signing up, as attendees who cannot participate in this manner will unfortunately not be able to remain in the session.

About this Session

This session will focus on how you can execute your personal networking strategy and build effective relationships. We will consider reciprocity; what you have to offer as well as gain, along with techniques for managing the flow of conversation. Come prepared to discuss the three key challenges, or barriers, you face when in a networking situation (in person or virtually) and ready to share your insights on what has worked well for you in the past.
