Come and join us for the May Flourish event! Arun Creative & Digital is a friendly community of professionals working locally. This event's theme is Aspiration and Ambition - with a focus on what next for the community. It's an opportunity to input into Arun Creative & Digital 2.0! Join us for an informal, welcoming networking event with a creative showcase from Ned Balsys , Operations Director of Metropolis Visual and an open discussion on the event theme facilitated by Arun Creative & Digital Project lead, Jim Byford.

Are Flourish events held in accessible venues?

This event at Arcade Lounge is a ground floor venue and is accessible to wheelchair users. We try to rotate events between venues in Arundel, Bognor Regis and Littlehampton and endeavour to make use of accessible venues. If you have specific needs please inform the team.

Who organises Flourish events?

Arun Creative and Digital is a community project to support thriving businesses and network a flourishing sector. It was initiated by Arun District Council in 2024, commissioned by West Sussex County Council and is delivered by Adventures + Wisdom Institute.

What exactly are creative industries?

Sub-sectors making up the creative industries are advertising and marketing, architecture, crafts, design and designer fashion, film, TV, radio and photography, museums, galleries and libraries, music, performing and visual arts, publishing, IT, software and computer services (including video games)

Are Flourish events free to attend?

Flourish events are currently free to attend as have been fully funded through Arun District Council's allocation of the UK Government's Shared Prosperity Fund to April 2025. From May 2025 onwards a new model will developed in consultation with the community.

Can I bring a friend who doesn't work in creative industries?

Yes of course. We have created a friendly community and particularly welcome the wider business ecosystem of consultants; coaches; trade association, chamber and council representatives.
