The Link website is funded by theChildren Learning and Skills Directoratein Slough Borough Council. It is aimed at current and future education professionals in Slough, particularly teachers and early years practitioners.We have a strong and vibrant education system in Slough characterised by good educational outcomes for children and a growing spirit of collegiality andpartnership workingacross schools and between schools and the LA.We hope that the Link will become a powerful tool to strengthen the education system in Slough by supporting the communication of education priorities and facilitating collaboration across schools and settings.  Please visit our website for further information.

Date: 19th January 2023For experienced Year 6 and Key stage 2 teachers, this is an opportunity, for teachers to become moderators to support the LA with the verification of standards for schools who are to be moderated this year. The day will end, with those who wish to moderate this year, will sit the standardisation exercise set by the STA. Please note there is no parking on site. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.The training is face to face. There will be sufficient space in the room provided to socially distance.Date: 2nd February 2023This is for ECT&#x27;s teaching year 6 and teachers new to year 6. Attendance is highly recommended for teachers in all schools to ensure that they are familiar with arrangements for end of Key Stage 2 assessment this year.Please note there is no parking on site.
