About this event
With the cancellation of GCSE and A-Level exams for the second year running, there has never been a more important time to debate the future of assessment. Countries worldwide are reforming their assessment approaches to improve fairness and equity for learners, there is much we can learn as we consider what our assessment system should look like this year and beyond.
- At what age should assessment take place?
- What are the right modes and methods?
- What can we learn from international trends and approaches?
Join us to hear from Robert Halfon MP, Chair of the Education Select Committee, as he questions whether now is the time for assessment to change, find out about assessment approaches around the world from leading expert Professor Bill Lucas and then share your questions and join the debate with members of the Rethinking Assessment movement as they consider how things could change.
