AstraZeneca: Discovering The Discovery Centre (DISC)
Join AstraZeneca on a public tour of The Discovery Centre (DISC), our state-of-the-art research and development facility.
The Discovery Centre, located at the heart of the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, is purpose-built to create a collaborative environment that brings together leading scientists, researchers and industry experts from all over the world to solve complex challenges and drive scientific advancement.
Our 45-minute, guided, public tours offer visitors a unique glimpse into our scientific work, and the significant impact we strive to make in the field of medicine.
Tours are open to adults (over 18 years) only. Due to limited availability, we encourage early booking. We look forward to welcoming you.
Please note:
- If you are booking for multiple people please provide a name and separate email address for each individual.
- Adults only, over-18s, no children, babies or animals
- To support our working environment and to keep our employees and members of the public safe in our facilities, we need to conduct ‘open source’ screening for all tour attendees. Ahead of attending the tour, limited additional information will be requested from you. If this open-source screening is not completed, then attendance at the event will not be permitted. You will receive an email detailing how to complete the screening up to 1 week after making the booking for the event.
- Only the named pre-booked person will be allowed entrance on the day. No substitutes can be made and bookings cannot be transferred.
- Photo ID will be required on the day to guarantee entrance.
- Notification of any accessibility or other special requirements should be declared at the point of booking.
- Only those who have completed the open-source screening will be admitted entry on the day.
- It will not be possible to join a tour on the day if you have not booked and completed the screening
- Please be aware that there is no onsite parking available for this event.
