Wednesday 11th May 2022, University of Nottingham, Monica Partridge Building, Room E07 and online on TeamsThe ‘At the Intersections’ Conference is jointly organised by PSA Women and Politics, PSA Race, Migration and Intersectionality &amp; PSA Early Career Network and builds on the highly successful conference held in 2018. The conference aims to bring together scholars researching intersections of social inequalities, structures or categories including—but not limited to—race, class and gender, and to encourage engagement across political science and political sociology, across methodological approaches, and inclusive of diverse scholars. We are pleased to announce that are keynote speaker will be Dr Chantelle Lewis. Chantelle is currently a Research Fellow in Black British Studies at the University of Oxford, the co-host and co-founder of the Surviving Society podcast and the Deputy Director of Leading Routes. This conference will be in-person at the University of Nottingham, but provisions will be made for participants to join online if they can’t attend in person. Please indicate whether you are intending to join the event in-person or online when registering for catering purposes. We also have a small fund to help cover the cost of travel expenses for ECRs and those on precarious contracts. Please let us know if you would like to apply for travel expenses (with an indication of the approximate amount) when registering.
