Atlantic Exchanges

Based at theUniversity of Stirling, the Peer Review Project is a strand of theAcademic Book of the Futureinitiative evaluating contemporary review practices in the Arts and Humanities. The project seeks to address five guiding questions: What are contemporary models of peer review? Where does peer review occur in the research and publication process? What is the role of peer review in institutional structures? How are reviewers guided towards writing useful feedback? What could peer review look like in the future? Peer Review Project, University of Stirling

This one-day workshop will discuss patterns of influence and exchange in arts and culture across the Atlantic, exploring examples of transatlantic/circumatlantic networks, crossings and connections. It aims to encourage lively, inclusive discussion. Lunch, tea and coffee will be provided, and the day will conclude with an open discussion and drinks reception. The workshop is free to attend and all are very welcome.
