The Audio Developer Conference (ADC) is an annual event celebrating all audio development technologies and the audio developer community.

We are delighted to invite you to attend and contribute to the 6th Audio Developer Conference (ADC).The main conference will take place 18-19 November 2020.ADC is an annual event celebrating all audio development technologies, from music applications and game audio to audio processing and embedded systems. ADC’s mission is to help attendees acquire and develop new skills, and build a network that will support their career development. It is also aimed at showcasing academic research and facilitating collaborations between research and industry.<h3>New online format</h3>The current situation with COVID-19 means that our usual physical conference in London is not viable this year. For ADC 2020 we are moving to a new online format.Of course, a major part of the conference experience is the live interaction between attendees. We have considered different ways of recreating this experience online, and have settled on a fairly new system called Remo.What we love about Remo is that it's the closest thing we've found to recreating the experience of being at a physical event. It is organised around virtual "rooms" and "tables". In between presentations (or even during if you're in another room) you can engage in face-to-face video chats with groups of others at your table, or choose a different table and collection of people to interact with. During a presentation, you can ask questions via a dedicated Q&A interface (so the presenter can respond when they are able), and even up-vote questions from other people.Remo has been used for other recent tech conferences and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. We're really excited about providing this interactive conference experience for the ADC community!Sessions will take place between 15:00 and 21:00 UTC to facilitate attendance across different time zones.<h3>Code of Conduct</h3>The ADC 2020 team wants everyone to contribute to an interesting and joyful event where people of all backgrounds feel welcome. We are committed to helping elevate minorities in the community and supporting their unobstructed contribution.As a framework to make this happen, we provide guidance and support with the implementation of a Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct applies to everyone involved in this event.
