In this workshop, which combines theoretical discussion with hands-on experimentation, join Charli Cargill and Laurie Ward and Dr Eleanor Dare, a leading digtial humanities scholar and co-founder of the storytelling studio and consultancy X||rdinary Stories, as they explore the digital mediation of trans lives, the gendered assumptions underpinning AI and facial recognition technology, and the applications of augmented reality in queer performance contexts.

This informative, accessible, and informal event will be moderated by Dr Lloyd Meadhbh Houston, and is open to the public, with members of the local trans and queer community particularly welcome to attend.
