This workshop is led by senior mental health professionals working in the Social Communication Pathway and will provide the opportunity to:
- Develop your understanding of Autism.
- Consider what being autistic might mean for your child/young person.
- Think about factors that might impact on wellbeing for autistic people.
- Learn about approaches to support wellbeing and how to access further help.
- Hear about the experiences of other families and share your own experiences if you wish.
Biscuits, tea and coffee will be provided. However, lunch isn't covered so please make sure to bring your own food for the lunch break.
If you need an interpreter to access the session, please email mft.scppostdiagnosticworkshops@nhs.net with at least a week’s notice before the session. Each session can only cater for one interpreter so please contact the SCP team ASAP if you require one.
