Autumn Statement 2016
Date and time
Description
The thoughts and actions of a new chancellor are always hard to predict. Will he tinker or change things more fundamentally? I look forward to finding out and chatting through the changes at Moor Park”
Our new Chancellor, Philip Hammond, will present his first Budget of the post-EU Referendum government on the 23rd November 2016.
Hammond has already indicated he will move away from some of George Osborne’s plans, and will focus on the long-term investment needs of the country. This Autumn Statement will be of particular importance in light of the upcoming Brexit negotiations rumoured to begin in early 2017.
Our review and analysis of the Autumn Statement will clarify what the real changes will be, and how this might affect your personal and business’ financial situation. Once again, we will be joined by Giles Mooney, a leading taxation expert. He is a known critic of government policy and will guide us through the Chancellor's statement, identifying the potential changes and problems it could have.
The seminar will commence at 7.00am with a complimentary breakfast of pastries and fruit or a full English breakfast, followed by presentations at 8.00am and concluding at 9.30am
Whilst the event is complimentary, we invite all attendees to make a donation on the day to the Herts Community Foundation. Your generous donations at our last event totalled over £360. There will also be a business card raffle to win a four-ball at Moor Park as well as excellent networking opportunities, so bring along your business cards!
Please note that whilst we encourage you to book your tickets using Eventbrite, you do not need to print your ticket or download the app. Should you have any questions or queries about the booking system, please contact Rachael Potter: rachael.potter@myersclark.co.uk.
We hope you can make it.
Best,
Myers Clark
