Autumn Young Composers Course 2025 / Cwrs Cyfansoddwyr Ifanc Hydref 2025

Are you an aspiring young musician aged 14-18?

Do you want to develop your skills in composition, instrumentation and arranging?

This term’s Arts Active Young Composers course will focus on learning to compose for baritone, viols, baroque flute and recorder and harpsichord. You will be working alongside professional musicians and guided by composer Andrew Wilson-Dickson.

At the end of this FREE four-day course, you will be able to hear your composition played live by the musicians. The performance will be recorded and sent out for you to keep and include in any portfolio you may be building for school or university.

Course dates and times: 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th October 2025. 10:00 – 1:30 each day.
