    Frequently asked questions

What can I expect from the workshops?

Under the guidance of our experienced instructor, you will be taken through some basic woodworking skills and knowledge as you learn skills such as using a drawknife and carving using a hatchet. The workshop will teach you the basics of crafting a wooden axe handle by hand.

Will I walk away with an axe?

This all depends on you! If you want to craft, shape, hang, and wedge an axehead that you have brought with you during the session, then we will do our best to guide you as you craft away! The aim is for you to walk away with a custom axe handle you crafted yourself, ready to shape to an axehead.
