Join AZIZ! for our next fundraiser event and POC led dance party. AZIZ! Is a new POC led dance party for ALL people of colour and is a space cantering the experiences of marginalised groups. This night has been created for queer people of colour to take up space at a dance party centred around them. If you value self-expression, intersectionality, authenticity and self-discovery this is a night for you.Everyone is welcome at AZIZ! events, regardless of race, gender and sexuality. We ask if you are not a person of colour to be mindful that this is a space prioritising people of colour, you can show your support by sharing this event as well as, if you choose to join the party, purchase a non-POC ticket with a higher fee to support the POC community at AZIZ! You request it and we play it! At AZIZ we play a mixture of music depending on what you have requested and may include a mixture of pop/iranian/Arabic/dancehall/global hits and we will be joined by PUPPYFAT from 8pm. PUPPYFAT 🐶 is a queer nothern dj who will be spinning hot 🔥 &amp; bouncy genre-fluid beats from around the world. As well as supporting the continuation of this event the funds raised at our launch party will be donated towards helping the people of Iran. Please bring cash and pay what you can on the door. Tickets will be available on the door. We have created this space with the vision of it being safe and inclusive for all and naturally, have a strict zero tolerance policy for individuals who violate the space. Racism, sexism, prejudice of all forms, transphobia, homophobia and ableism will not be tolerated and you will be removed if you are a threat to those you’re sharing the space with.If you cannot afford a ticket please contact us or turn up on the night and you will be let in for free. Everyone is welcome at AZIZ! and we want to limit barriers where we can.Accessibility statement: T﻿his event does not have step free access and we are working hard to raise enough funds to host this dance party in a fully-accessible venue so all can access this event night. As it is a fundraiser please bare with us whilst we work towards this goal. It is important to us that everyone can come and without our events without barriers and we understand that this venue actively excludes people who cannot access the venue due to the stairs and will at our earliest possibility as this night grows upsize to a fully accessible venue.
