To launch Scottish Badger Week 2024, we invite you to join the charity Scottish Badgers for a free session all about badgers, in partnership with our friends at The Wisp Retreat. The morning session will consist of an indoor presentation on badger biology, ecology, field signs and setts. After lunch, we’ll head outside to look for signs of badger presence. Please note that we will not be visiting a badger sett during this session.
Catering: Tea/coffee plus soup and sandwiches will be provided for lunch, free of charge. We can cater for vegetarian diets but if you have any other dietary requirements, we would ask that you please bring a packed lunch.
Booking: Booking essential as places are limited. Book your free place via Eventbrite. Donations to Scottish Badgers welcome on the door.
Getting there: You can come by car or the X95 Edinburgh to Carlisle service stops right outside. We have timed the sessions so you can arrive by bus, with the service from Edinburgh arriving at 10.50 am and the service from Carlisle arriving at 11.15 am.
