BAE Systems is one of the largest employers of engineering apprentices in the UK, offering a wide range of electrical and mechanical engineering roles. We also offer five-year project management apprenticeships.An apprenticeship with BAE Systems will give your students the opportunity to begin an exciting career. Working for a company that provides some of the world’s most advanced, technology-led defence, aerospace and security solutions, they will have the chance to work on projects that will change history. From day one, they will be earning a competitive salary while learning a craft. Our schemes turn out award winning apprentices. In 2018 one of our apprentices won the hotly-contested Apprentice of the Year at The News Business Excellence Awards, and we have three shortlisted entrants for the 2019 awards.  
To find out more about what’s on offer with BAE Systems, we will be holding a series of two-hour apprenticeship opportunities events in our Skills Development Centre at the heart of Portsmouth Naval Base.You will be able to hear from apprentices past and present about what life is like as an apprentice at BAE Systems and find out more about the fantastic opportunities available. They’ll also be able to try their hands at lots of fun, interactive activities.
