It might look like: People dressed as houses almost falling over. Endurance. Bodies trying to get comfortable. Attempts to do everything at once. Enjoyable flexibility. Less enjoyable flexibility.Join us for an early-stage sharing of material created over a two week residency at Caedmon Hall, followed by a short workshop exploring the themes of the work. For the workshop, please bring clothes you can move in.Balancing Acts is supported by Horizon: Performance made in England, and hosted by GIFT and MAYK (Bristol).About artists: Rachael Clerke is a Bristol-based artist working across many mediums. They make artworks that sit somewhere on the edge of live art and community infrastructure; playful experiments about what real life might look like if we were less concerned with what real life &#x27;should&#x27; look like.Hannah Sullivan is an interdisciplinary artist based in Bristol, working with performance, theatre, dance, writing and collaboration. Hannah&#x27;s practice is concerned with understanding and reframing creative practices, salvaging what is at risk of being lost and prioritising the emotional experience. Linzy Na Nakorn is a dance artist, theatre maker, movement director and community facilitator. They seek to make their work a form of activism, direct or indirect, by challenging and providing new ways of looking at the body, society and inter-personal relationships.
