Overview

A practical session on the application of disciplinary policy and procedure.

Join us to learn how you can practically address the challenge of balancing the needs of employees as well as following disciplinary policy and procedure.

The application of disciplinary policy and procedure has the potential to cause harm to all involved, negatively impact organisational culture and reputation and ultimately affect the bottom line. However, research has shown that employee harm can often be avoided.

This 3-hour workshop will provide valuable insight and protected time for participants to openly discuss the practical challenges of implementing a people-centred approach.

Andrew Cooper, co-editor and author of ‘Under Investigation: Transforming Disciplinary Practice in the Workplace’, will share recent research undertaken with HR leaders and take participants on a journey to review their current practices.

Participants will be given the opportunity to reflect on the work they may have already undertaken in this area and practice the skills needed to effect change in their organisations. A session not to be missed!

This event is suitable for HR practitioners at all levels in an organisation, including HR leaders and those involved in conducting or advising on the disciplinary process.
