About this event

Join the Formartine Ranger for a walk along Balmedie beach to discover what treasures the winter waves have washed onto the beach and learn more about them. Can you tell a male crab from a female crab? How can you tell how old a cockle is? Is that seaweed actually a seaweed? Who knows what treasures we will find and what secrets from the deep we will discover.

No dogs please.

Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing.

All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Please ensure all attending adults book a ticket.

Not suitable for normal pushchairs, but if you or someone you know would benefit from an all-terrain wheelchair for this event, get in touch with Balmedie Beach Wheelchairs.
