Angel Layer

This is the first ever BAME Network at the University of Portsmouth. In order to celebrate the wonderful successes of Black History Month and prepare for the future, I have arranged a BAME network. This is an opportunity to network with students who identify as BAME as well as staff and members of our local community to ensure we can represent you better in the students union. 
At the event there will be an opportunity to network with inspirations from our local community, a chance to talk about what we can do better in the union and at university to represent you and then to celebrate the successes that you have as students and staff. 
I would encourage you to come along, to celebrate, to talk and to just get involved. This project will hopefully work as a larger opportunity to form part of the BAME mentoring programme, so if you sign up as mentors or mentees it would be great to get you involved.
