About this event

  • 1 hour

This workshop for those who have a little more experience playing with others, and want to take it to the next level. We'll focus on really listening to each other's playing, holding down a groove, finding musical space and crafting parts that contribute to the whole. (For those totally new to band playing, try our beginners' workshop: from bedroom to stage).

Workship leaders:

Martin Little is guitarist and singer in Mossflower, and hosts Blues in the Pews. With decades of live music experience in rock, indie, blues and folk bands, Martin is also a gifted educator in his 'day job' as Vicar of St John's!

James Packer has over 15 years experience as a drum teacher in schools, colleges, and privately. He currently runs Portway Music School in Wells, and is the house drummer for Blues in the Pews. He is passionate about seeing musicians develop their skills and confidence!
