Put on your dancing shoes! Join Maxine's National Trust fundraiser, led by ceilidh caller Simon Wales.
Put on Your Dancing Shoes for a Good Cause!
Hi, I'm Maxine!
In 2027, I'll be taking on the London Marathon to raise money for a charity very close to my heart, the National Trust. Along with my dogs, I spend countless happy hours exploring National Trust places, and over the past few years they've provided me with comfort, calm, and plenty of fresh air when I've needed it most.
Whether you visit National Trust sites for the history, the learning, the beautiful landscapes, or simply a good cup of tea and a slice of cake, I'd love for you to join me for an evening of fun, laughter, and dancing as I raise money for this wonderful cause.
Leading the festivities will be Simon Wales, an expert dance caller with over 30 years of experience getting people twirling, reeling, and smiling. Formerly the caller for the much-loved folk band Kafoozalum, Simon now brings his infectious enthusiasm and talent to ceilidhs, Scottish country dances, and barn dances across the country.
And as an added bonus, Simon is a National Trust volunteer himself, making him the perfect person to help us celebrate and support this fantastic charity.
No experience is needed, just bring your dancing shoes and your sense of fun. Come along, have a laugh, and help support the National Trust while we dance the night away!
Children are welcome, with a limited number of reduced-price tickets available. All chidlren (and adults) must have a valid ticket and must remain under the supervision and responsibility of their parent or carer throughout the event. Please note this is a BYOB event for adults, and no childcare or supervised children's activities will be provided.
