Discover ways to stay healthy and have your say about health and social care in Barnet.

Calling all Barnet residents - this is an event for anyone who uses NHS services, such as a GP, or social care in Barnet. Do you want to find out more about how you can feed back on, shape and influence health and adult social care services in your area? And would you like to learn more about how you can stay well and connect with other people and groups in Barnet?

Booking is essential.

There will be stalls and talks from community groups, health and care services:

  • You'll hear about what's on offer to help you to stay fit and healthy.
  • Some of the groups are looking for volunteer patient representatives, health champions and committee members. They will explain how to get involved, have your say and improve services.
  • You can also find out more about joining People’s Voice and apply to be on Barnet Council’s Involvement Board if you have experience of adult social care in Barnet.

Whether you want to have your say, hear about Barnet’s health and care services, are interested in volunteering, or are just curious to learn more, join us for a fun afternoon out. Let's get healthy and heard in Barnet!

We will have speakers from Barnet Mencap and a Barnet GP Patient Participation Group.

3:30 PM - 5:00 PM - Browse stalls, hear useful information, network

Venue:

Grahame Park Community Centre, The Concourse, Grahame Park, Colindale, NW9 5UY

Travel and parking:

  • Tube - Colindale Station, 15 minutes walk
  • Buses - 186, 204, 303
  • Parking - Quakers Course car park, NW9 5XA, is three minutes' walk from the venue. Blue badge holders can park for free in this car park, or in the nearby Near Acre Road. Anyone else can pay to park in Quakers Course car park - this is free after 4pm. Before 4pm, the charges are: £3.43 for three hours, £2.58 for two hours, £1.68 for one hour and £0.90 for 30 minutes.

This event will be photographed and filmed. The images and footage may be used in our publicity materials. If you would prefer not to be photographed or filmed, you can speak to a member of Healthwatch Barnet staff on the day and they will assist you with this.

Accessibility:

  • If you have any specific access needs or questions, please email info@healthwatchbarnet.co.uk and we will be happy to help.
  • The event will take place on the ground floor and there are no steps at the entrance to the building. There is a disabled toilet on the ground floor of the building.
