About this event

  • 3 hours

We would love for you to join us for this night of all things menopause and walking football.

We've teamed up with The Well HQ and PeBe to bring you an evening where you can expect (for absolutely free):

  • sports bra measuring
  • sports bra guidance around best fits
  • breast health talk
  • meopause and physical activity talk
  • pelvic floor workshop

We're throwing in a walking football taster session too, because when armed with the all the info to use physical activity as your super power during all the stages of menopause, why not try out some walking football as an option.

Chip butties are a must, we know that it's tea time and we don't want you going hungry. There will also be the option to buy further snacks too.

With free parking, free attendance and free advice, the only thing we're hoping you'll part with is your time. But we promise you'll leave feeling it was worth it.

Frequently asked questions

Who are the Well HQ?

Puberty and menopause, biology and psychology – data and research on how women work and function are largely missing from the health and fitness disciplines. As a result, societal understanding isn’t where it needs to be. It’s a situation we need to rectify. Find out more here: www.thewell-hq.com

Who is Baz from the Well HQ?

Former Team GB rower Baz Moffat retired from the sport to launch a successful international consulting and coaching business. A prominent voice in the women’s health movement, Baz specialises in the pelvic floor - a pivotal yet vastly under appreciated nucleus in the female body.

Who are PeBe?

Our team is small but mighty. We're experts in all things boobs and sports bras, on a mission to stop boobs being a barrier to exercise, or a reason that girls don't feel "sporty". Here to change the experience of sports bras for a generation of women. Join us on our journey!

What do I need to wear?

Something comfortable that you're happy to move around in. Definitely a pair of trainers for the walking football session.

I'm interested but can't make it on the night?

That's a real shame but we fully understand, walking football sessions will be continuing beyond this night and we'd love to welcome you to those. Just get in touch with sara.harnett@sheffieldfa.com. The group will also be signposted to local menopause support that you can access.
