Woodlands Community is a Development Trust, a charitable organisation that aims to improve the Woodlands area of Glasgow and the lives of local people. Woodlands' Climate Action Project is partnering up with Bike for Good to offer a Basic Bike Maintenance Classes on our Workspace Terrace.

This class will be limited in numbers in accordance with current government regulations for number of households able to gather. Please read our Covid-19 Secure Guidelines at the end of this form. By signing up for this class you are indicating that you understand and agree to these guidelines. Thank you!This class is designed for complete beginners and those with rusty knowledge. Learn to maintain your bike throughout the year, and gain knowledge and confidence to change those punctures on your own. In this class we will cover:General care using basic toolsComponent identification and their functionWheel removal and replacementPuncture identification and preventionPuncture repair This workshop is free, though we ask that you make a one off donation when booking here on Eventbrite. This is a great help to us in being able to afford to run more workshops such as this.Since numbers for the class are calculated per household you may sign up more than one person from your household. After you complete the form for one person, please email hilary@woodlandscommunity.org.uk if you would like to add another person. Woodlands Community Climate Action is funded by the Scottish Government’s Climate Challenge Fund. Woodlands Community Workspace TerraceCOVID-19 Secure GuidelinesVersion 1.2 Updated 15th July 20201.	Please do not attend the Terrace if you or any members of your household currently have (or have had within the last 14 days) any symptoms of Covid-19. The most common symptoms are a continuous cough; fever/high temperature (37.8C or greater) and loss of/change in sense of smell or taste. 2.	The maximum number of people who should be on the Terrace is 12 from 5 different households3.	The Terrace has been fitted with stickers indicating 2-meter distance. Please ensure that you adhere to social distancing requirements at all times. 4.	Stickers will also be laid out on the pavement and path leading to the Terrace. Please queue on these spots so that people entering and leaving the Terrace can maintain a safe social distance.5.	Hand sanitizer units have been installed on the Terrace and are available for your use. 6.	Face masks and gloves are currently not required for outdoor activities. You are welcome to bring your own mask or gloves if you so choose however, please be aware of how a mask may affect your breathing if you are engaging in physical activity.7.	There are no public toilet facilities on site at this time. This continues to be under review and we will notify you before the event if anything changes. 8.	Our toilet is strictly for the use of Woodlands Community staff and tutors only. We would encourage tutors to wear a face mask when entering the Workspace building to use kitchen or toilet facilities.9.	If any chairs are being used from the Workspace we ask that they be wiped down after use. Sanitizing wipes are available in the Workspace kitchen.10.	The Terrace is wheelchair accessible via a stairlift. Please let us know in advance if you or anyone in your group will need to use this, so that we can ensure staff are on hand to assist.11.	We ask that only one person at a time is on the staircase, and people avoid crossing on the stairs.12.	We ask that people coming to the Terrace avoid using public transport and travel by foot, bicycle or where absolutely necessary by car.13.	There is a space inside the Workspace/Terrace area for parking up to 3 bicycles. If this space is full we would ask that bikes are locked up outside on the street.14.	Once activities are underway, we would ask that tutors keep the gate to Workspace closed to minimise chances of members of the public entering the site.15.	 Our Workspace building and portacabin Office remain out of bounds to members of the public.16.	To allow us to implement systems for track and trace, all activities at the Terrace require advance registration and people should not be allowed to join in activities without registering their details. 17.	If within 14 days of attending an event at the Terrace you or a member of your household develop symptoms of Covid-19, we would ask that you immediately inform us. This will allow us to contact NHS Test and Protect for further advice. You can find information about Test and Protect here.18.	We would ask that participants limit the amount of personal items they bring with them to one small bag and ensure that these are kept apart from other people’s bags/items.
