We offer a variety of events for All, free family stem events and talks and lectures delivered by our experts in our world class Nationally Styled  Accredited working Musuem.

Basic Electronics
This is a two-day course providing a general introduction to electronic components and circuits, aimed at a general audience of all age groups. The content is descriptive with a minimum use of mathematics. You will learn about all the basic building blocks of modern electronics, such as transistors and diodes, how they work and how they have developed and evolved to their present day manifestations in computers and smartphones. You will learn how to read a simple electronic circuit diagram and how to assemble and test some simple working electronic circuits.
 
The course is interactive with “hands-on” circuit building exercises that are designed to be fun as well as informative. No prior knowledge of electronics is assumed.
The course is run for two days over a weekend and includes:
Refreshmnets and Lunch
A kit to take away 
Entry to explore the whole Museum
