Basic Life Support
2 hour session to familiarise attendees with performing CPR and using a defibrillator (AED), provided by Nayland Community First Responders
Nayland Community First Responders (CFRs) is a charity dedicated to supporting our local community.
CFR schemes operate nationwide, and their volunteers provide essential lifesaving treatment in acute medical emergencies.
These NHS qualified medical responders are dispatched by the Ambulance Service control room, from their home address or place of work.
Our volunteers are also qualified to provide basic life support awareness. These sessions will teach you how to start the "Chain of Survival" by performing CPR and using an AED until an ambulance arrives.
There is a practical element to these sessions. Please ensure you are fit to take part and wear suitable clothing.
This is a free event, but all donations to this charity are gratefully received.
