Basketry tea tray
Join us on an enjoyable evening workshop to make this adorable tea tray!
Our evening workshops offer a gentle introduction to willow weaving and basketry.
We make different items each session and in June we're getting ready for garden tea parties with these delightful trays.
You will learn two borders, a simple track border to anchor the willow to a pre-drilled wooden base and then a three rod border to finish. You can build in integral handles, add 'ear' handles or leave it without (as in the picture above)
This project is suitable for beginners and for those a little further along on their basketmaking journey.
All materials are provided, along with tea and cakes 😀
PLEASE NOTE, WILLOW WORK IS NOT SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE ALLERGIC TO ASPIRIN
