Join the North East Ranger Service to experience the amazing spectacle of hundreds of bats returning to their maternity roost at dawn in the Haddo House courtyard. Starting with an introduction to bats and what makes them so unique and how we tell them apart by sight and sound, we will then enjoy the twirling displays as they return to roost as the sun rises. This will be finished off with a hot drink and hot filled breakfast roll included in the ticket price, supplied by the Courtyard Café.
This event is aimed at adults and older children (14 -18 years). We will meet at the welcome board between the car park and Courtyard, before moving into the courtyard itself which is a short walk of approx. 50m on level graded surface. Please remember to bring a torch and warm outdoor clothing as it might be a bit chilly!
