Overview

Join the Ranger for an evening exploring Spring Park at dusk, searching for bats and learning all about these fascinating creatures!

Experience Spring Park as it transforms at dusk on a guided bat walk through its quieter corners and Ancient Woodland. As the light fades, bats take to the skies, hunting insects and navigating the twilight with incredible precision. Using bat detectors, we’ll uncover the hidden world of these elusive nocturnal animals in this unique nature reserve.

Event information

  • Families welcome (under 16's must be accompanied by an adult)
  • We will be looking for illusive and shy wildlife so no dogs, please
  • We'll be walking across rough and undulating terrain so wear sturdy footwear
  • Meet at the entrance to Spring Park by the west Car Park on Addington Road (What3Words: ///bugs.invite.toned)
  • Please bring a torch and warm clothing for a dusk walk

£3 per person - Your contribution will help us run events like these and various conservation projects at Spring Park that benefit people and wildlife.

In the event of very bad weather or cancellation, we unfortunately cannot refund tickets. We will endeavor to reschedule for an alternative date or offer a free place at an event in the future.
