Overview

Join us for an evening walk in the park as we learn all about about bats and use detectors to search for bats in the local area.

Meeting point: Park entrance at Welbury Way, What3Words///skip.affair.tests

This activity will take place around sunset with no street lighting, so it will be dark. Although torches will be available, you are encouraged to bring your own to ensure your safety after the activity ends.

This activity involves a mixture of walking and standing on woodland paths for the duration. There is no seating along the way. Please ensure that you wear clothing and footwear suitable for an outdoor setting and the weather.

The activity is suitable for ages 8+, and children must be accompanied by an adult. NWT staff cannot be left responsible for children or vulnerable adults at any time.

We want everyone to feel welcome to take part, so if you have any specific requirements or questions, just let us know and we'll do our best. This type of event is normally very popular, so if you can't make it, please let us know so we can offer your space to someone else.

No dogs please.
