Bat Walk

The Three Brooks Nature Conservation Group was formed by local residents, with the aim of conserving and enhancing the Three Brooks Local Nature Reserve for the benefit of both residents and wildlife in Bradley Stoke.As well as monthly practical workdays, we organise guided walks in our beautiful nature reserve, to show the community how much of nature's wonder is right on their doorstep.If you would like to find out more about your local wild spaces, why not join us at one of our walks? All are welcome and, thanks to the generosity of Bradley Stoke Town Council, all our events are FREE.

Three Brooks Nature Conservation Group

Join us for a FREE GUIDED WALK around the Three Brooks Local Nature Reserve. You will be provided with a “bat detector” and shown how to identify the various species of bat which live on the reserve. We willl be going over uneven ground in the reserve so please wear stout boots and bring a torch. If you have your own bat detector please feel free to bring it with you.
Note that while these walks are free, numbers are limited for safety reasons. Booking is essential and you will need to bring your printed ticket. The walk is not suitable for very young children as the group may walk quite fast between sites.
Meeting point is outside the main entrance of the Bradley Stoke Leisure Centre. The leisure centre car park is shut and locked at 10pm on a Friday, so please park in the Willowbrooks/Tesco car park opposite the Leisure Centre.
