This webinar will be presented by Eur Ing Keith Plumb, CEng, CSci, FIChemE who is a process and equipment consultant with more than 40 years experience of batch processes
Batch processes usually involve unsteady conditions with frequent stops and starts. This means that process pump design for batch process is usually considerably more different than for continuous process.
In the early part of his career Keith spent a lot of time trying to commission processes where the pumps had not be properly designed or specified. This frequently led to the necessity to make changes to the pump design.
Since then he has been involved with design and specfication of many pumps for batch  processes and has learnt how to overcome the problems that he encounted when he was comissioning pumps.
There will be time for questions and discussions and the number of delegates will be restricted to 10 to allow the discussion to take place via voice links.
