In this hands-on festive workshop, you’ll explore the craft’s rich history while creating three of your own beautifully hand-marbled large ceramic baubles to take home and treasure. Discover a variety of patterns with your chosen colours to design truly unique, personalised ornaments. Each carefully crafted bauble is made to last, giving you magical keepsakes to enjoy and share for many Christmases to come.About marbling:Dating back to the 1200s in Asia and popularised in 1600s Turkey, marbling is now considered an 'endangered' craft, with just a small handful of people practising it professionally in the UK. We will be using the traditional method in this workshop.About the artist:The workshop will be taught by <a href="https://www.instagram.com/gracefrogley" title="https://www.instagram.com/gracefrogley" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Grace Frogley</a>, an emerging artist living in London, with a particular interest in heritage crafts. Grace has recently exhibited at RBSA (2025) and ST.ART Gallery (2025) and Bonnington Cafe (2025) and hosts marbling workshops across London and Kent.About the venue:<a href="https://bonnington.cafe/" title="https://bonnington.cafe/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Bonnington Café</a> is a community-run vegetarian and vegan spot at the heart of Bonnington Square. Born from a squatters’ kitchen in the 1980s, it’s grown into a welcoming and artistic café with a rotating mix of chefs serving affordable and ever-changing dishes from around the world.
