BBC micro:bit for complete beginners

CAS Master Teacher: My Dad introduced me to programming on a Speccy in the 80s and I went on to teach myself BBC Basic from the age of eight. After studying Maths and Compsci at uni, I became a professional programmer, writing software for MRI (huge magnets that scan people) and GIS (a bit like Google Maps). A few years later I accidentally fell into teaching A-level Computing and Maths for a decade. I am now Head of Computing and Digital Learning and teach Computing to Years 5-8.
