The BBC Shared Data Unit was established to support data journalism across regional media. Join journalists from the Shared Data Unit and students from the MA in Data Journalism at Birmingham City University on the unit's first hackday, as we dig into a number of interesting datasets to see what stories can be told, or what tools can be made to engage a wider public in topical issues.
The hackday takes place on the eve of Data Journalism UK, so if you're attending that event as well why not come a day early and get stuck into some data too!
