A 4-day course providing attendees new to this field of science a brief introduction to a range of topics in cryogenic engineering.

About this event

Organised by the British Cryogenics Council

The course will be held remotely by video conference over four days in April. Attendees will be sent a video link on the morning of each conference day providing you with exclusive access to the sessions.

This four-day course will provide attendees with a brief introduction to a range of topics in cryogenic engineering including:

  • Cryostat design
  • Safety
  • Cooling techniques
  • Ultra-low temperature systems
  • Large-scale cryogenics
  • Instrumentation
  • Cryogenic Applications

Target audience:

The course is aimed at those new to low temperature systems, including engineers, postgraduate students, undergraduates, technicians, and other practitioners.

  • Monday 12th April 12.30-17.00
  • Tuesday 13th April 12.30-17.00
  • Thursday 15th April 12.30-17.00
  • Friday 16th April 12.30-17.00
