Making The Leap

We're launching Black Charity Leaders (BCL), a brand-new initiative to support the charity sector in promoting race equality.

Black Charity Leaders is a first-of-its-kind initiative that seeks to advance race equality in the charity sector. Our mission is to support charities that are keen to bridge the value gap for their early-mid career colleagues of colour. For a multitude of reasons, racialised minority employees are more likely to feel undervalued in the workplace—and it’s no different in the world of charity. Black Charity Leaders not only understands these concerns, but works with both employers and employees to alleviate them. Our programme combines executive coaching, mentoring, training and masterclasses for young professionals, arming them with the skills to develop their careers, as well as partnering with charities on how best to support, mentor and value these employees. We work with charities from all over the UK that are committed to improving their experience and culture for minority employees. Join us on Thursday 28th October at 15:00 for our official launch!Whilst this event is aimed at charity sector leaders, corporates are welcome to attend to find out how they too can get involved.
